"The global changes are today's reality...a perfect storm brewing. This is a C-level issue not just an IT issue that needs to be dealt with across the organization...the CIO could be the person to lead the charge."

CIO Survey Reveals CIOs are Leading Change and Driving
Innovation

The 2008 CIO Leadership Survey conducted by the Center for CIO Leadership reinforces the increasingly strategic role that CIOs are playing as leaders in their companies and drivers of innovation. The findings indicate that CIOs believe they are aligning more closely to key business objectives and evolving their skills in change management—a departure from many similar surveys.

The survey also highlights opportunities for CIOs to improve their skills in business strategy, and other key areas to increase their impact on their enterprise. With the help of the member CIO community and academic partners, the Center believes it has created a valuable education path to help fill these gaps.

For a limited time, we are offering guests on our site access to the white paper on the 2008 CIO Survey results. If you have not previously registered as a guest on our site you will be prompted to register. After registering you will have access to the report. We also encourage you to apply for full membership in the Center. Once your membership is approved, you will have full access to a wide range of research, events, and opportunities offered by the Center for advancing the CIO role. Apply for membership today!
